The Window Is Narrow. The Revenue Is Not.
Under-40HP tractors, the utility and compact segment dominated by John Deere and Kubota, account for 62.2% of all tractors sold in the United States. In 2023, that was 156,220 units. The segment peaked in April 2021 at over 219,000 units in a single month. The seasonal pattern is consistent: demand concentrates in the spring and early summer, when operators are preparing ground, adding implements, or taking advantage of financing programs that expire at the end of Q2.
The commercial buyer in this window, the Productivity Operator who runs equipment and makes procurement decisions, is not browsing. They are acting. Forty-seven percent of commercial ag buyers purchase specifically to increase efficiency or expand capacity. Their decision timeline runs two weeks to two months, which means the buyers engaging with your website in April are making purchase decisions in April and May. The research window and the purchase window are close to the same window.
What this means for dealers: the cost of a missed April inquiry is not just that inquiry. It's the downstream unit that competitor captured when you had nothing on the other end of your website at 9 PM on a Tuesday.

The 90-Day Ramp: What It Actually Looks Like
This is not a hypothetical. A current client on our Ag Platform deployed the Lahzo AI Sales Agent and we measured the results. The 90-day data showed what an AI Sales Agent deployment looks like when it's running during a season that matters.
The commercial ag buyer who came in at 11 PM asking about a utility tractor for a loader application did not fill out a form. They told the Lahzo Agent their acreage, their use case, their comfort requirements, and their timeline. That conversation was waiting when the rep arrived the next morning. The rep did not cold-call a name and email address. They called a buyer who was already qualified.

Urgency Is the Driver
The ag buyer's urgency is not a sales objection to overcome. It is the reason an AI Sales Agent creates disproportionate value in this vertical.
A buyer whose equipment is down at 8 PM during planting season is not going to wait for a business-hours callback. They're going to the dealer who gives them an answer tonight. The dealer with a qualified AI Sales Agent live on their website is that dealer. The dealer without one is the missed opportunity in that buyer's rearview mirror.
Thirty-two percent of commercial buyers report they delayed a parts purchase because of dealer availability issues—the dealer couldn't confirm stock or get back to them fast enough. Each of those delays is a dealer who had a ready buyer and didn't have a response mechanism capable of closing the window before it closed itself.
The AI Sales Agent is not a comfort feature during slow periods. It is a revenue capture tool during the exact moments when buyers are most urgent and dealer capacity is most constrained.
Growth season is happening now.
See how ag dealers are capturing the buyers who visit after hours, and the ones who come in urgent.
